Reasons We Had To Forget About You

Poem on light pink background with line drawings of two roses. Titled "Reasons We Had To Forget About You". Text reads:
You didn't know if you loved me but I loved you completely
You made me feel like I wasn't enough in so many ways...
Not thin enough
Not young enough
Not clean enough
Not pretty enough
Not well-off enough
Almost, but not quite, cool enough
How could you judge me? You didn't even know me
Not the real me; I kept her hidden
Because you would not have loved her
Although I guess it didn't matter
Because you didn't love the girl I created for you
Not really
Not in the way she/I needed
But the saddest thing was
For so long she/I believed you
That we weren't enough
Until we became one and discovered
The truth is we are too cool for you
Richer than you'll ever know
We're effing beautiful, inside and out
When we aren't suffering from a breaking heart we have energy to clean
And F you for caring how young or thin we are
We're healthy now
Our heart and body healed from you and the wounds you inflicted so casually
As if it was nothing to break someone you professed to love
You don't know the meaning of those words
These are the reasons we had to forget about you
